CTC #100 - Presents and Pinecones

Welcome to our 100th CTC Blog Hop!  Can you believe it? It has been such a fun way to explore the catalogue and I am ever grateful for Bronwyn setting this up.

This week we are taking inspiration from the Presents and Pinecones section of the Holiday Catalogue, I chose to take broad inspiration from the cute red card above.

I changed the orientation of the card but am enjoying the challenge of having some off-centre elements on my cards which are usually just not my thing..  I used the Peace This Christmas stamp set which goes beautifully with the This Christmas specialty DSP.  I do like my borders on cards, so couldn't give that up and just layered a panel of the DSP rather than covering the whole front of the card. I added a few gold sequins to the sentiment panel to add a bit of bling and sparkle.

I hope you are inspired to join in this week, it is really easy, just look at the projects on pages 18 - 31 of the Holiday catalogue and create your project. You can choose a layout, colour scheme or anything that isnpires you to create your card or 3D project, then add it to the challenge page for this month by following the link above.

Time to hop on over to see what our guest designer for the month Lou has created

  6. Lovely festive card Monique. I like your interpretation of the design and how you made it landscape instead of portrait. Beautiful!
