CTC #151 - Merry Little Project

Welcome to another week at CASEing the Catty, a challenge where we take inspiration from images the projects in one of the Stampin' Up! catalogues as the basis of our projects each week. You can join in too by adding a picture of your project to the CTC Facebook Page.

This week we are taking our inspiration from the covers and Hostess sections of both the Annual and Holiday Catalogues.

I love 3D projects and this cute little box on the cover of the Holiday Catalogue really caught my eye.

I decided to make a card instead of a box, and keep with the monochromatic colours inspired by the Merry Little Christmas Mega Suite, using papers from both of the DSP packs in this suite. The Rosette is 1-1/4" x 12" and scored at 1/4" intervals. The sentiment is from Merry Little Labels and the Holly embellishment was stamped and cut using the Carols of Christmas Bundle. Do you like the little red berry on my holly? It is a regular rhinestone that I have coloured with a Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends (new alcohol based markers coming out soon for general purchase).

I hope you are inspired to join us this week, jut pick one of the projects on the cover or in the Hostess section of either Stampin' Up! Catalogue and use it as the basis of your project, then post a picture of your project on the CTC Facebook Page

Time to hop on over and see what the talented Julia has created this week.
Happy Stamping
Monique
