CTC#552 - CASE The Mini Catalogue

Welcome to another week at CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop, where utilise the projects within the current Stampin' Up! catalogue to inspire our own projects each week. We also invite you to join with us in the challenge each week by using this inspiration in your own creations and uploading a photo to our Facebook page.

This week we are taking inspiration from the newly released January to April Mini Catalogue. 

I was inspired by this card from page 56 of the Mini Catalogue. I love the layout of this card, and while I think the colour combination is interesting, I thought I would like to play around with the colours and make a more natural toned card. 

For the basis of my card I chose one of the sheets from the Nature Walk DSP with lovely earthy tones and pretty cursive script.  From here I chose another pieces from the same DSP pack to cut out two of the leaf dies from the Greenery Lane Bundle which gave them a lovely mottled green look.  I chose other foliage stamps from the same bundle to create the rest of the collage as well as the sentiment.  I finished off my card with some of the Brushed Brass Butterflies for a little sparkle.
