Lovin Vintage Vogue

Another couple using Rich Razzleberry and the Vintage Vogue stamp set.

This one I also used the Friends Jumbo Wheel for the sentiment, cutting out a small part of it . The butterfly is from the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set, stamped on vellum and attached using a mini staple.

This one I made as a thank you for one of my hostesses. Same colours as the others! Its only a small square card, can't remember the exact measurements but I think the double flower makes a nice feature. I usually can't cut around things with a small border, but for once it worked.

Card for Swap

This one is for a swap I did with a group of very talented demonstrators to showcase some of the new things in the Autumn/Winger Mini catalogue.

I love the colours of this card, Rich Razzleberry is one of my new favourites, and I am so glad it will be staying on as a Core Colour with the new Colour Renovation come September. I can't wait to get my hands on more accessories to match. I also love the Vintage Vogue stamp set and have used it a lot!

Stamp Set: Vintage Vogue
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Certainly Celery, Pale Plum.
Other: Dimensionals, SNAIL, Designer Label, Wide Oval and Scallop Edge Punch.
Techniques: I made the DSP - one of my new favourite things. Sponging the edges of the patterned paper gave it a more vintage look.

Been busy

Well its been a while since I posted anything, and I really need to get more motivated to upload my projects. Inspired to do this as I am directing more people to my blog and think there should be more here if they take the time to come and look.


This one is a card I made for my parents for Easter. I needed a religous themed cards, but sadly no stamps that met this criteria ... so after having a look on Split Coast Stampers I found one to CASE, then got a bit creative.

I printed out and cut a cross on computer paper then used the cut out cross as a mask and coloured the background using Pastels, I used the yellow to make the apperance of a halo. The cross on the page looked a bit too plain and stark, so used the vine stamp out of Vingage Vogue set from the Autumn/Winter mini, to create the effect of vines on the cross. To do this I used the paper which I cut the original cross out of to mask the card. Vingage Vogue flowers and leaves were added with half pearls in the centre. I can't remember the exact colours used but think it was So Saffron, Elegant Eggplant and one of the greens. I was so happy with it I made another one for my in-laws also.
