CTC #186 - Polka Dot Birthday

Welcome to another week at CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop, where we take inspiration from the projects in one of the Stampin' Up! catalogues to create our own projects each week.

This week we are taking inspiration from the Birthday section of the catalogue, pages 66 - 79.

My inspiration comes from this project featured on page 73 of the Annual Catalogue, I think it caught my eye as it is so fun and just simply made me feel happy to look at it.

While I do have the cute little pillow boxes, I decided to use the catalogue project as inspiration to make a card instead.  I have used some of the polka-dot paper from the Share What You Love DSP and used coordinating colours for the flowers, leaves and circle in the background.  It is a bit hard to see on this image, but I used three layers of the Happy Birthday and have raised it  up on Mini Dimensionals to give added depth.
