CTC #277 - CASE the Flowers for Every Season DSP Colours

Welcome to another week at CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop, where utilise the projects within the current Stampin' Up! catalogue to inspire our own projects each week. We also invite you to join with us in the challenge each week by using this inspiration in your own creations and uploading a photo to our Facebook page.

This week we are taking our inspiration from the colours of the Flowers For Every Season DSP.

These colours are Magenta Madness, Cinnamon Cider, Bumble Bee, Just Jade and Misty Moonlight. I have to say I love all of these new In-Colours and that the Flowers For Every Season Suite includes all of them, so it seemed perfect to use in my project for this challenge. This suite has two great bundles that work perfectly together, Celebrate Sunflowers and Jar of Flowers.

One of the fun things about the Jar of Flowers bundle is the little shaker domes that coordinate with the punch from the bundle.  Because the card was fairly busy I did not add any pieces but rather chose to back the jar with one of the DSP sheets, I did add the ribbon and bow by cutting small slits on either side of the jar and threading the ribbon through before adhering the front of the card. The ribbon is Crinkled Seam Binding coloured with Magenta Madness Stampin' Blends, I love the pop of bright colour this brings.

I hope you are inspired to join in the challenge this week, just use the colours in the Flowers For Every Season, to inspire your creativity, then post a picture of your project to the CTC Facebook page.

Time to hop on over and see what Michelle has created this week.

Happy Stamping
Monique

  4. I love the sunflowers. It looks great having the little bit of DSP poking out behind the white mat.
