CTC #505 - CASE The Sale-A-Bration Catalogue

Welcome to another week at CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop, where utilise the projects within the current Stampin' Up! catalogue to inspire our own projects each week. This week we are taking inspiration from the Sale-A-Bration (SAB) catalogue

I was inspired by this card from page 11 of the SAB Catalogue, I liked the simplicity of the layout and how it is a great way to show off different sheets in a DSP pack.

I thought the lovely Bokeh DSP would be great for this CASE, I cut a 1" strip from five different sheets, then cut it in half to create 10 1"x3" pieces. I love how well the colours go together while creating a fun background for the sentiment.  This is another of my no-stamping cards as I have used the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, colouring the letters to mirror the DSP colours beneath them.

Because I had 5 extra pieces of DSP I decided to make a second card, and this time chose a bolder sentiment from the same Ephemera Pack and leaving it white.  If I had kept going with this process I could have made 12 cards from 5 sheets of 6"x6" DSP!
