CI #38 - Pretty in Pink

Welcome to another Colour INKspiration Challenge, where we take inspiration for the colour palette in a photograph to create our projects.

This week our inspiration image is one I chose, i loved the colours but also the comfort this yummy hot chocolate would bring.  It is winter in the Southern Hemisphere at the moment and while it is colder in other places we have seen quite a few mornings in the negative numbers here in Canberra.

The colours for this challenge are:
  • Powder Pink
  • Grey Granite
  • Berry Burst
  • Whisper White
  • Basic Black

I wasn't really sure what to create for this challenge so decided to cut a card base in each of the challenge colours.  While I was clearing off my desk ready to start creating I noticed the off-cuts and thought how lovely they would look as a pattern on the card base. From there it was simply choosing the flowers and leaves from Oh So Eclectic to create the posy in the corner.  The card needed just a little lift so I added some additional leaves cut from the Champagne Metallic Foil sheets, it goes so beautifully with the pinks and greys.

I hope you are inspired to join in the challenge, simply use the colours in your project and upload a picture to the CI Facebook Page

Time to hop on over and see Mel's lovely project for this challenge.

Happy Stamping
Monique
