CTC #189 - Love, Thanks and Support

Welcome to another week at CASEing  the Catty Sunday Blog Hop, where we take inspiration from on of the sections in the current Stampin' Up! Catalogues to create our projects each week.

This week we are taking inspiration from the Love, Thanks & Support section of the Annual Catalogue, pages 104 - 125.

This cute little gift package caught my eye when I was flicking through these pages,  and I love the stamp sets and framelits that are featured it in.

I kept to the original layout quite closely, but decided to make a card instead of a gift box. I wasn't really taken with the navy so switched that out for the gold edged ribbon, which made me decide to use gold embossing on the little bird rather than stamping it in colour.  I did use some Calypso Coral to add colour to the bird though which I think works well.

I just love the heart cut from Woodgrain DSP and am going to have to do this more often, however instead of stamping and using my Big Shot for the additional embellishments I used some of the flowers that I fussy cut from the stunning Share What You Love Specialty DSP. This DSP is so versatile, and it is great to pair it with the images from Petal Palette Bundle.

I hope you are inspired to join in with us for this challenge, just upload a picture of your project to the CTC Facebook Page.

Time to hop on over to see what the amazing Sandra has created this week.

Happy Stamping
Monique

  7. Your card is so pretty, Monique. The vanilla ribbon adds a touch of elegance that the sample doesn't have.
