CTC #324 - CASE A Retiring Mini Project

Welcome to another week at CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop, where utilise the projects within the current Stampin' Up! catalogue to inspire our own projects each week. We also invite you to join with us in the challenge each week by using this inspiration in your own creations and uploading a photo to our Facebook page.

This week we are taking our inspiration from the projects associated with the products retiring at the end of the Jan to Jun mini catalogue. If you aren't sure what is retiring you can check the on-line store under Sales & Specials, then Last Chance Products to find them.

 

I was inspired by this image from page 8 of the Jan to Jun Mini Catalogue which showcases the Flowering Cactus Product Medley.

I liked the elements on this card and thought it would be fun to recreate with products carrying over and new products.  I have used the spray of leaves and flowers from Sweet Strawberry and one of the sheets of Hand-Penned DSP. I love how easy it is to decide on a colour scheme when you choose your DSP first, just match the colours in the DSP because you know they are going to look good together. I finished off the little flowers with some Genial Gems to add a little sparkle.
