ESAD New Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

Welcome to the ESAD Annual Catalogue Blog Hop where we are showcasing products from the new annual catalogue.  Boy is this a great catty!  I have fallen in love with quite a few new products and can't wait to see what my fellow demonstrators have created on this hop.  Just follow the links at the bottom of each post until you get back to the blog you started from.

I decided to showcase products from one of the suites that caught my eye when I looked through the catalogue for the first time, the Forever Fern Bundle and Forever Gold Laser-Cut Speciality Paper, from the Forever Greenery Suite on page 110.

I think it was around Christmas last year that I really started to fall in love with Pretty Peacock, it reminds me of the beautiful blue green leaves of some of our gum trees and so I wanted to have it as the base of my card. I have struggled a bit in the past with laser cut sheets, but this time the panels are already cut out of the larger sheet and are so easy to use on your projects. I just love how the panel on this cards adds a touch of elegance without over powering the lovely stamped and die cut images from the coordinating Forever Fern Bundle.  I have found the easiest way to use this bundle is to cut out a few of each leave design and then play around with how to layer them until you like the result. I now have a mini stamp case with lots of spare leaves for my next projects.

Time to hop on over and see what the lovely Sharon has created from our amazing new catalogue products.
