Welcome to another week at CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop, where utilise the projects within the current Stampin' Up! catalogue to inspire our own projects each week. We also invite you to join with us in the challenge each week by using this inspiration in your own creations and uploading a photo to our Facebook page.
This week we are taking our inspiration from the layout of these cards from page 29 of the Mini Catalogue.
I was inspired to use the Heartwarming Hugs DSP, isn't that a great name! I love all the patterns of this DSP I think the small images in the patterns make it really easy to use. I made my card landscape orientation so I could squeeze in an extra strip of the lovely DSP. I think this would be a great way to showcase any DSP pack for any occasion not just Christmas. Its a great way to use up small strips of DSP also, for those of us who don't like to throw anything away.
I hope you are inspired to join in the challenge this week, just use the sketch of the cards on page 29 to inspire your creation, it doesn't have to have a Christmas theme, just use the basic layout, then post a picture of your project to the CTC Facebook page.
Time to hop on over and see what Siobhan has created this week.
Happy Stamping
Monique
Oh that dsp looks so nice!! Love your card!
ReplyDeleteThe designs in this DSP are lovely and you’ve showcased them so well in your card. Your colouring really ties it all together. Great card.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful interpretation of the sketch, Monique! I agree that it's a great way to use up some scraps. The paper you've selected is perfect, and I love the sentiment panel.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! Love the papers!! And the colouring is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteFestive and fabulous! These strips look so good, it is such a great way to show off this DSP. The change in orientation works so well. What a fun card!
