CTC #316 - Say Goodbye To Your Favourite Retiring Product

Welcome to another week at CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop, where utilise the projects within the current Stampin' Up! catalogue to inspire our own projects each week. We also invite you to join with us in the challenge each week by using this inspiration in your own creations and uploading a photo to our Facebook page.

This week we are taking our inspiration from our favourite retiring project and products, this is a really tough one because it will be our very last CASE from the 2020 - 2021 Annual Catalogue and there are a lot of projects and products that I have loved from this catalogue so its tough to chose just one ... so I didn't!

I was inspired by this image from page 109, I liked it because it uses my favourite DSP from the Forever Greenery Suite of the same name.  I also knew it was a card that would allow me to feature some of my other favourites from this catalogue.

I love the striped DSP so used this one rather than the one in the original keeping with the horizontal striped theme. I also wanted to use the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper which is just gorgeous and I have loved using in my projects this year.  I used two of the gold wreaths, one with the gold showing and the other that I flipped over and coloured the white backing with my Dark Pretty Peacock which is my faviourite retiring In-Colour. I also used this pen to colour three adhesive pearls.  Instead of using the Forever Fern stamp set (because it's not retiring ... yay) I chose two of the leaves and sentiment from Rooted in Nature which is a set I absolutely love. Finally my favourite ever embellishments are the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots which I have used way more than any other embellishment (except pearls and rhinestones) and I am going to miss these little guys so much.

This card really does represent some of my favourite products from the 2020 to 2021 Annual Catalogue which will retire on 3 May ready for our new Annual Catalogue which goes live on 4 May. If there are any products you are thinking about, don't delay if they are on the retiring list because they won't be available for very much longer.

I hope you are inspired to join in the challenge this week, just use any of the samples of retiring products in the 2020 to 2021 Annual Catalogue to inspire your creativity, then post a picture of your project to the CTC Facebook page.

Time to hop on over and see what Rose has created this week.

Happy Stamping

  1. Love it Monique!! I am a big fan of the gold foil embellishments too. I like your use of the Rooted in Nature images and will be sorry to lose Pretty Peacock.
