Better Late Than Never ...

I was running so much behind last week I messed submitting my card for the Paper Lovin' Gals Design Team. But, better late than never, I made this one today!

I loved this inspirational photo as soon as I saw it, the colour is just awesome and I love the buttons, it reminded me to use more buttons on my projects.  What inspires you?  Have a go and join in this week.

I chose the round shape of the embroidery hoop and of course the colour and the buttons.  I made my first Scallop Circle easel card ... what do you think?  Easel cards are quite easy once you understand the basic mechanics of them.  I have made a rectangle one before and followed the same theory for making this one.  The original tutorial I got from SplitCoastStampers, a great resource.

Happy Stamping

  1. Hi there Mon,

I love what you've done here. I thought the same thing about this particular inspiration photo but just went with the colour myself. Your round easel card is just gorgeous. Love the collection of purple buttons too.
