How exciting, it's ESAD Blog Hop time again, and this time we are featuring two great catalogues! Firstly the Occasions Catalogue packed full of exciting occasion related products. Secondly the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue, the best thing about this one is that it is full of great products you can earn for FREE, yep absolutely free with any $90 purchase!
Blog Hopping is easy, you may have arrived here from Pauline's blog, or you maybe starting from here, just follow the link at the bottom of each post and hop around until you get back to where you started from. If you find a link not working there is a list of all the links at the bottom of this post.
I have chosen to make some cute samples with the Hey, Valentine stamp set, aren't the 4 images just so cute? his is a set with 4 really cute images. Here are my creations:
I love this Hey, Valentine stamp set, the little robin is soooooo cute! I stamped the original image then cut it in half so that the double ended banner is actually little flags. I have coloured the images using the wonderful Blendabilities - even the rhinestones to help them blend with the overall look of the card. I took a piece of the Something Borrowed DSP and cut with the Big Shot then sponged the edges to soften it for this project. Can you see the panel of embossing on the card base? I put the card into the embossing folder so that there was a gap each side to get this effect.
I didn't take a picture of the inside but have stamped an @ on the inside and printed #togetherforever #iloveyou so that the message is just like a Twitter message, you could even limit the message to the length of a tweet (a sweet tweet!).

Here is my next project it uses quite a few of the new products: firstly the cute little bag is made with Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Die which I LOVE, so cute and comes with 10 embellishment dies as well as the main bag die! I have used the die to cut the Best Year Ever DSP which I earned FREE to make the bag and the back layer of the tag. Onto the tag - I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock then trimmed one end with the new Ornament Tag Topper Punch before stamping with another stamp from the Hey, Valentine set. I have a confession to make about this project, did you notice the glimmer heart at the top of the tag? Well it is only there because I coloured outside the lines on the fish and decided to cover it up rather than re-colour a whole new tag!!!
My next project is using the same cute little fish stamp from Hey Valentine, but this time covering the heart with a cut out present and changing the sentiment! I love getting more value from stamps by using them for more than their original purpose. I have also used a couple of other new products on this card, both of which I earned for FREE! (yes I may have bought a few things from the new catalogue). Firstly the background is made using a piece of specialty DSP Irresistibly Yours, this is white and card stock weight but comes pre-embossed with different patterns, this one reminds me of both waves and fish scales so matched this card well. I sponged it with a combination of blues and greens to give the mottled look. I finished off the card using a piece of Natural Chevron ribbon turned so the chevrons don't show, and topped with Calypso Coral ribbon (another free product). Finally the Happy Birthday sentiment is from a super cute set From the Herd stamp set in the Occasions catalogue.
I didn't use the pirate stamp for the blog hop but have a project in the works for this little guy, again it is a great stamp for a birthday card. I can see me making quite a few children's cards with this very cute little set.
Now it is time to hop on over and see what the very talented Nicole has been creating. If you find one of the links not working there is a list of them at the end of this post.
