CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop #30 - Graduation

This week at CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop we are taking inspiration from the Graduation section of the Occasions catalogue.  This is a small section so I found it a bit of a challenge but chose to take inspiration from the invitation at the top of page 45.

I didn't want to use the theme of graduation so decided to make a fun little photo display instead.  I kept the panels similar to those in the catalogue but changed the colour scheme and added hearts instead of stars.  The photo is one of my lovely husband, and after 29 years is still my #1 Valentine!  Can you spot the new product on this project?  If you picked the DSP under the little fox you would be right, this is from the gorgeous Bohemian DSP which I am sure you will see so much more of on my upcoming projects.

Keep hopping around to see what the other design team members have created.

Happy Stamping

  1. Lovely tribute to your hubby Monique! Love the way you put your own spin on the theme. It was a tough one!

  2. Such a great adaptation of the layout. Love the colours you have chosen and that new DSP looks great.

  3. Naaaaw! This is so cute!! A great idea to re-purpose the sketch from the graduation album for your Valentine album.

  4. Aaaaw, how sweet. What a lovely photo display.

  5. Brilliant take on the inspiration piece, Monique! Such a cute way to display a special photo. :)
