Welcome to another ESAD Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop. We have some great samples for you from the wonderful new Holiday catalogue that runs from 1st September to 4th January and is just packed full of stunning new products. You may have arrived from Kathryn's blog, or you may be starting here, just follow the link at the bottom of the posts to hop all the way around until you get back where you started.
For my two projects I am using the All Ye Faithful stamp set, available in wood mount or clear mount which is great. I chose clear mount and I will share why with my first card.
This is a card I wanted to make ever since seeing this set in the catalogue, it took a little bit of working to get it to all line up, but I am so happy with how it came out. I stamped the main images with Memento ink then coloured with colour pencils. Now, here is why I love clear mount stamps, the sentiment "O, come all ye faithful" is actually all on a single piece of rubber, but because it is clear mount, I have actually cut my stamp into two pieces, with the sentiment split like you can see it on my card. I can still line the pieces up on the clear block when I want it to be stamped as a single image.
Here is my second card with the same stamp set. This time I stamped with VersaMark and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. I really like this simple monochromatic look and simple layout. The sentiment is stamped on the inside of the card on Very Vanilla card stock.
Now it's time to hop on over to Bernice's Blog and see what she has created.

Great cards Monique. I don't have this stamp set, but thinking I may have to add it to my Wish List. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHow stunning is your 'Split' card!! That card certainly shows off how versatile the Stampin' Up! products are, they lend themselves to so much!!
ReplyDeleteWell done!
I love your gate fold card. What a great way to create a scene. It gives me ideas for other stamp sets as well. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove your projects, beautiful
ReplyDeleteSuper idea for this stamp set Monique. I just love your nativity scene idea! And wow, you're braver than me... I don't think I'll ever be able to cut a stamp!
ReplyDeleteLove your cards Moni. I especially love the clever fold one. Thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely cards but my favourite is the first one! I love the opening!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favourite stamp sets and I love what you have done with it Monique, especially the first gatefold card :D
ReplyDeleteI love both your cards, but the first one is super special. Don't you love it when your project turns out like you imagined! Thanks for sharing, Kelly x
ReplyDeleteLovely cards Mon. You do such beautiful work. Thanks so much for being part of the ESAD Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop.
ReplyDeleteYour watercoloured card is AMAZING Monique ! It must have been a challenge to work it out, but it's so beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteWow Monique - loving your colouring and attention to detail on your gate fold card.
ReplyDeleteLovely colouring on your card Monique! Beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteMonique, your gatewing card is very clever and super stunning. I bet it must've taken a little bit to line it all up, but the end result is gorgeous. I am also a sucker for gold embossing on Blackberry Bliss cardstock. It looks so regal and elegant.
ReplyDeleteI SO love your cards - this was the first set on my wishlist. Thanks for the great tip about the sentiment. I may have to cut mine when I get home rather than using markers when you want the sentiment on different lines. TFS
ReplyDeleteTwo great cards Monique. Love the way the first card opens to reveal the image inside. Beautiful colouring! Thanks for sharing! Rochelle xo
ReplyDeleteCannot understand why, one leaves a message - then the website makes you sign in but doesn't save the message you just wrote. Frustrating!
ReplyDeleteLove your tri-fold card sends the message in a special way and shows how to use our stamps in unique (out of the box) ways! Also love the color contrast on your 2nd card. Thank you so much for sharing!
Very effective and clever - love both cards :)
ReplyDeleteI love both your cards Monique, the coloring is fabulous :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever way to show All Ye Faithful in all its entirety, Monique - love these :)
ReplyDeleteLovely cards, love the beautiful soft colouring on the first one.
