Card Swap Chain Series 5 - CASE-ing Danielle

Back in November 2025 we started the fifth series of the Card Swap Chain, arranged by the lovely Tracy Held. The idea is the we each made a card and sent it to another person in the chain. That person would CASE (Copy and Share Everything or Copy and Selectively Edit) the card and send it to the next person who would in turn CASE it and send it on. There are 10 of us in this chain so definitely opportunity for a few variations to sneak in between the first and last card, and these blog hops take you on the journey through the CASEing process.

Danielle's Card
This chain started with this cute Christmas card from Danielle, who has used a great technique, cutting the tree image from a Memories and More card to let the strips of DSP show from behind. If you didn't begin this hop with the first blog, I would recommend you pop back there to start the hop and learn a bit more about the original card.

My card was second in the chain, so there aren't many differences between Danielle's and my own card. I didn't have any Memories and More cards to use so stamped tree images onto a piece of 3"x4" of Basic White, and then cut a slightly different Christmas tree images. To create more of a contrast with the green trees I chose reds and golds for the strips behind the focal image.  I stamped the sentiment straight onto the base card which always makes me nervous that I won't stamp it straight!! Are you like that?

Time to keep hopping to see how this card was interpreted for the rest of the chain, and if it is still recognisable by the end of the chain What elements do you think made it all the way down the line?

Happy Stamping
Monique
