Welcome to the monthly Let's Craft Together Blog Hop, thanks for joining us. We are a group of multi-cultural Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship through our love of stamping and our admiration of each other's style of crafting.
The challenge this month is to create a project that is black, white and bright! How exciting is this challenge!!!

I thought the easy way to approach this would be to use a black and white DSP, but I didn't have any so I put my thinking cap on and decided to pull out some of the cardstock in the brights collection. I then narrowed it down to a rainbow and used Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, and then I pulled a couple of colours from the subtles collection to finish it off with Balmy Blue and Highland Heather. I then cut 1cm strips of each and stuck them together in rainbow order, I turned it 90 degrees then cut 1cm strips (each colour is 1x1cm) then staggered them to create this fun rainbow background. I finished off my card with the very cute Floral Flight Accents which were just perfect for this challenge. I only adhered down the body of the butterfly so the wings lift off the card. I used some Antique Pearls coloured with a black Sharpie pen, and added a sentiment from the Greetings For All Ephemera pack.
Time to keep hopping to see the other wonderful projects the team have created for this blog hop.
Happy Stamping
Monique
