ESAD Last Chance Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop

Welcome to another ESAD Blog Hop, this time it is to have another look at some of the great Sale-A-Bration items while they are still available, which won't be long because after 31st March none of these products will be available!  The Sale-A-Bration items are all earned for FREE with any purchase of $90.

In my first project I have showcased two of the products, the Flowering Fields stamp set, and the coordinating Wildflower Fields DSP.  To soften the DSP I have sponged Blushing Bride more heavily around the edges and lighter toward the centre, I stamped the flowers and butterfly in VersaMark and then water-coloured over the top, then when it was dry used my Stampin' Write Markers to add some depth of colour to the flowers and butterfly.

My next card has more bold colours which is more my style.  This is a really simple card, again using the Wildflower Fields DSP, with a simple addition of gold ribbon and banner from the Perfect Pennants stamp set.

Finally I was inspired to make another card to show off the gorgeous Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum.  I took a strip of the vellum and on the back of the vellum coloured the flowers and leaves at one end. Layering it over black card stock really makes the patterns and colours pop.  I have added a piece of the silver glimmer tape to the top and bottom of the vellum strip, folding it so that is isn't as wide as it comes off the roll.  Adding some rhinestones and a silver embossed sentiment.

Time to hop on over to Kathryn's blog and see what she has created to give a final send of to the amazing Sale-A-Bration products.

Happy Stamping
Monique

  2. I didn't get this DSP because it didn't really speak to me, but I love your cards, especially the first one with the dandelion wishes!

  4. Love your projects Monique. All so different, but all very pretty. I struggle with using patterned vellum, so I might just have to case your last card, it is a beauty.
